Amor Lee Crowe, 87, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018, at his home. Amor was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Jessie and Clyde Crowe. He worked for the Baltimore Sun for 44 years, earning his way up to Ad Service Supervisor. He was very active at the Roland Terrace Democratic Club, playing BINGO, shuffle board, taking bus trips, and volunteering to help those in need.
Amor was predeceased by his devoted wife of 62 years, Katherine “Kas” Crowe, and five of his siblings. He is survived by his beloved children, Denise (Mike) Busby, Darlene Martin, and David Crowe; his cherished grandchildren, Ronald, Christopher, Joseph, and Russell Ridgely, Katie Bull, and Jessie Crowe; his loving great-grandchildren, Brett, Ryan, Justin, Jacob, Rebecca, Kyle, Isabella, Olivia, and Andrew Ridgely, Miles, and his great-great-granddaughters, Ryleigh and Arianna; and his dear sisters, Grace Walega and Mamie White.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S.W. (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie on Friday, January 4th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 5th, at 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Amor’s name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake at www.hospicechesapeake.org.
