Angela Shook

Angela Michelle Thompson (nee Shook), 40, of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 3, 2021. She was born in Baltimore to Gary Michael Shook and Sharon Ann Scalio. Angela graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, RH and Gertrude Shook and Harvey Mercer.

Angela is survived by her beloved children, Jasmine Thompson and Jonathan McGuire; devoted parents, Gary Shook and his wife, Melissa, Sharon Scalio and her husband, Jim; loving siblings, Daniel Morsberger (Katie Murphy) and Alicia Shook (Jeff Wilson); caring grandmother, Anna Mercer; cherished nieces and nephew, Olivia, Ava and Tyler; beloved great-nephew, Kingston; her dear uncle, Ronnie Shook and his wife, Darla, and her caring Aunt Patty. She will also be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, on Thursday, March 11th, from 2-5 PM. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 50 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors.  We kindly ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to enter the funeral home.
