Angela Tountasakis

Angela Tountasakis, 94, of Halethorpe, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Corsica Hills Center in Centreville.  Angela was born on February 4, 1926, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to the late Frances and Lazaros Hagegeorge.  She worked as a seamstress for Marmack in downtown Baltimore for over 20 years and was a life member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation.  Angela enjoyed cooking, eating, sewing, gardening, and going to the beach.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Angela was predeceased by her devoted husband of 44 years, Zanis Tountasakis, her beloved son, Nicholas Tountasakis, and her three dear siblings.  She is survived by her loving son, Lazarus “Rick” Tountasakis; her dear daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Wanda Tountasakis; her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Tountasakis Jr., Nichole Hepfer, Jessica Tountasakis Quinn, and Katelyn Tountasakis Micken; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Nicholas Shane Tountasakis, Kelli O’Connor, Michael Quinn, Mayli Hepfer, Kevin Quinn, Ava Hepfer, and Elias Quinn.  She is also survived by many extended family & friends.
