Angeline Marie Holbrook, 92, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on May 19, 2022. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Guy and Jennie Blancato. Angie enjoyed attending her children's, grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sports events, recitals, concerts, graduation ceremonies and weddings. She also enjoyed bowling, puzzles, occasional visits to the casinos, Lottery scratch offs, and had a love of flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles E. Holbrook; daughter-in-law, Lois A. Holbrook; and her many siblings.
Angie is survived by her devoted children, Danny K. Holbrook, Larry A. Holbrook and his wife, Jackie, Karen S. Brucksch and her husband, Bob, Tina M. Cosgrove and her husband, Tim; cherished grandchildren, Vicky, Joe, Danny Jr., Dawn, Sammy, Brad, Jeff, Zack, Jeremy, Chrissy, Bobby, TJ and Amber; 24 loving great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and dear brother, Richard Blancato and his wife, Pam, sister-in-law Dorothy Lovvorn, and brother-in-law Cecil Holbrook. Angie will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, PA, on Tuesday, May 24th, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.
