Mrs. Anna Rose Hines, 81, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on February 11, 2011 at Future Care in Arnold. Anna was born in Baltimore, MD in 1929 to the late Catherine and John Brownley. She graduated from Seton High School, Class of 1947. Anna worked in data processing for MD National Bank. Thereafter she was the Director, Data Processing Division of the Comptroller of the Treasury for the State of Maryland for 22 years before retiring. Anna was a member of the Downs Park Quilters and Eternal Quilters. Her hobbies included quilting, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Earl Hines; devoted mother of Linda Watts, Diana Curley, Gary Hines and Larry Hines; loving grandmother of Tammy Rogers, Tina Stewart, Vince Watts, Alicia Aitken, Michael Watts, Nick, Greg, Brian and Adam Hines; dear sister of Joyce Counts, Raymond and Norman Scharff; cherished great-grandmother of 7.
