ANNA FRANCES MILLER (nee Durst), 100, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her grandaughter's residence on Friday, November 13, 2009; She was born, April 10, 1909 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George A. and Margaret McGonigle Durst. She grew up in South Baltimore and Philadelphia. She attended St. Mary Star of the Sea and St. Jerome Catholic Schools as a child. Anna worked as a telephone operator at the C & P Telephone Company and later at Hochschild Kohn's Department Store. She was also involved in her improvement association. She was always very active and the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time with children and was very devoted to her family and friends. Anna also enjoyed singing, dancing, reading, crossword puzzles and crocheting. She is the beloved wife of the late Edward H. Miller; devoted mother of Judith E. Scott; loving grandmother of Steve Scott, Cynthia Buffer and her husband Michael; cherished great grandmother of Meredith, Austin and Christian Buffer; dear sister of Margaret Anderson, Flora Martin and the late George and Bayne Durst and Dorothy Scott. She will be deeply missed.
