Anna Margaret Tewey

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Margaret Tewey, beloved mother, sister, wife, nana, aunt, and friend, who left us peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Anna was a cherished member of our family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Anna was born on October 3, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry Leach, Sr. and Emma (Schatt) Leach. Throughout her life, she brought joy, love, and light to everyone around her. Anna cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a talented quilter, seamstress, musician, and animal lover who touched many with her creativity and kind heart.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Robert) Lilliock, and Pam (Paul) Haasl; her grandsons, Connor, and Joshua Churko; her siblings, Henry (Mary) Leach, Jr., and Denise (Michael, Sr.) Stalnaker; as well as many close cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry Sr. and Emma Leach, and her husband, Paul Edward Tewey.

Her family will forever treasure the memories of the love, wisdom, and laughter she shared. They will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Philip Neri Church, Linthicum, MD on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
