Anthony Joseph Diorio, 80, of Glen Burnie, formerly of New York, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2012. He was born on June 26, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to Filomonia & Thomas Diorio. Anthony served his country proudly in the U.S. Army as Corporal from 1953-1955. He worked as an accountant for his sister's shop and also worked maintenance for Montgomery Ward's. He was a state community leader for 34 years and he loved his Schnauzer dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Regina Donato, and Carmella Diorio; and brother-in-law Paul Donato. He is survived by his sister, Terri McMully; nephews Paul and Reid Donato, and Frankie Diorio; niece Esme Donato; caregiver Cheryl E. Small; friends William & J.R. Small; and cousin Pia Trummetta
