Anthony Soroka

On Friday, September 21, 2007, Anthony Soroka of Gambrills, formerly of Brooklyn Park, passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He is survived by his cherished wife of 54 years, Irene Soroka. Anthony is also survived by his loving children, Patricia Rodgers, Sandra Reese, and Anthony William Soroka and his six beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his dear brother and sister, Alexander Soroka and Olga Zablotny. Anthony was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Pete Soroka, and his sisters, Jennie Ashe and Sophie Nardone.
Anthony was born in Baltimore and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He was in the United States Navy during World War II and was a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance for 27 years. Anthony was a member of the Sigma Delta Kappa Law Fraternity at the University of Baltimore and a member of the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge. He loved camping, tinkering around the house and hosting the Annual Family Crab Feast.
