On April 20, 2011, Arlene F. Naegele (nee Knopp), 77, a lifelong resident of Severn, died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness. Arlene was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School, class of 1951. She was very active with the reunion commitee and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, canning home grown vegetables, and spending time with her family. Arlene is the beloved wife of 57 years to her high school sweetheart, John A. Naegele; devoted mother of William F. Naegele, Lori A. Wyman and husband Jim, and John N. Naegele; cherished grandmother of Shawn, Ryan, Jillann, Morgan, Adam, Amanda, and Kaitlyn; dear sister of Robert Knopp, Sr., Nancy Trossbach, and Bonnie Lenoir. She was preceded in death by her grandson, John John, and sister, Joan Owens.
