August Cortina

On February 13, 2009, August A. Cortina of Glen Burnie, Maryland; beloved husband of the late Virginia "Ginger" Cortina; devoted father of Charlene Kellner, Frank Wayne Cortina and Larry A. Cortina; also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. August Cortina was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1926. He was a member of the United States Army during World War II. He was with the Department of the Army where he was an Electrician for 38 years. He was a member of the Master Electricians. August was a family man and liked to spend time with his grandchildren. He liked sports, including football. He also like cards and food. Along with all his activities, he was a very hard worker.
