Barbara Baker

Barbara Ebdon Baker, age 94, of Glen Burnie, passed on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was born in upstate New York before joining the Navy WAVES, at age 19, during WWII. She met and married Navy YNC Carl Baker, to whom she was married for over fifty years. She and Carl were founding members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in 1948.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl. She is survived by her brother, Albert Ebdon, her daughter Peggy and husband Roy Hall, her son, Philip and wife Barbara Gardner, and special niece, Dolores Mish, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie on Tuesday, July 11th from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service, officiated by her nephew, Deacon Ed Baker, will be held on Wednesday, July 12th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.
