Barbara Harris

On March 30, 2009, Barbara Harris of Ferndale. Beloved wife of the late Richard Harris; loving mother of Datina Rose Hall, Roger, Daniel, and Glenn Harris; cherished grandmother of nine; dear sister of Tony Mafale and Will Torre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Antoinette Ridings and Mike Mafale. Barbara was born in West Virginia to the late John and Rose Mafale. She retired from Westinghouse after many years. Barbara was a member of Severna Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and was affiliated with many Bible studies and prayer groups including, Prison Ministries, Bible Study Fellowship, Evangelism Explosion, and Youth for Christ. She also belonged to the Holy Trinity Choir, Holy Trinity Players, and the Sparklets (group that provided variety shows and dancing). Her many hobbies included family, visiting and entertaining the elderly at the nursing home, cooking her famous Italian dishes, church activities, leading the children's church, and taking part in the evening "prayer chain".
