Barbara Hullihen

Barbara S. Hullihen, 64, of Brooklyn Park, completed her life's journey and gained her heavenly reward.
Barbara was born on September 17, 1953 to the late Herb and Helen (Ricks) Whittaker in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Brooklyn Park High School. She married the love of her life Richard Eugene Hullihen on March 25, 1972.Together they enjoyed 46 years of marriage and though she had no children of her own she loved everyone else's children and enjoyed taking care of them. She was self-employed with her own residential/commercial cleaning company. She had a strong faith that sustained up until the end. She was a member of Arundel Christian Church in Glen Burnie. Barbara will be remembered for her love of family, happy disposition and her honesty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Ginger Queen, Shelby Withington, and Randy Phelps. She leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Richard E. Hullihen; sister, Patricia Falanga; brother-in-law, Bob Hullihen and his wife, Clara; her niece, Jackie Hullihen; nephew, Bobby Hullihen, Jr.; sister-in-law, Kellie Shackelford and her husband, Allen; Roger Hullihen; and a host of other loving relatives, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 26 at 10 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
