Barry Showalter

On May 8th, 2007, Barry Vale Showalter passed on. Barry was dearly loved by his family which includes his lovely wife, Leona Showalter; his dear son, Frederick Showalter; his dear stepson, George Elchin; his dear brother, Merle Showalter; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Barry was born in Pennsylvania in 1918. He was a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a steelworker with Bethlehem Steel for 30 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Barry enjoyed many hobbies, such as the history of the world, the history of World War II and written poetry. Barry was a good man who will be missed by many.
