Barton Shilow, Sr

Barton R. Shilow, Sr., 85, of Glen Burnie passed away on February 6, 2013 at Howard County General Hospital. He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Wilmer and Carrie Shilow on December 9, 1927. Bart served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then later worked at Baltimore Gas & Electric for 40 years as a sheet metal mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, watching the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, traveling, and fixing and building things. In addition to his parents, Bart was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Shilow and his second wife, Jean Shilow. He is survived by his beloved children, Barton R. Shilow, Jr., Evelyn C. Donaldson, and Michael J. Shilow and step-son Raymond Sullivan; his seven cherished grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two dear siblings, Frank Shilow and Carrie Bauman.
