Battista Robert Delia, 62, of Glen Burnie passed away on March 21, 2020. He was born on August 14, 1957 in Hempstead, NY to the late Thomas and Carmela Delia. Battista served in the US Marine Corps from 1981-1984 and was very proud to serve his country. “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and the Marine Corp League. He worked as a Port Surveyor for Mercedes Benz USA. Battista loved to go camping, riding his motorcycle with friends, he also enjoyed cooking and traveling the states, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Delia; granddaughter, Courtney Russell; sisters, Marie Fowler and Pamela Gialaboukis; brothers, Thomas Delia, William (Billy) Delia, Christopher Delia, his in-laws, Richard (Lee) and Connie Sherman.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Thursday, March 26th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Due to the recent state requirements from the governor, we are limited to 10 visitors at a time.
