Grant B. Walls, 78, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 24, 2013 at his home. Grant was born in 1934 in Robbinsville, North Carolina. He worked for the Operating Engineers Union as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Grant was a member of Masonic Corinthian Lodge #93, Boumi Temple, Marriottsville Muzzle Loaders, Glen Burnie Moose Lodge, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Glen Burnie Ward. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bluegrass music, gardening, and was a car enthusiast. Grant loved going home to the Smokey Mountains where he was born and raised. He is survived by three daughters, Wendy Greenwaldt, Kim Shifflett, and Linda Neslein, all of Glen Burnie; brother, Charles Walls of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Grant is also survived by his 3 cherished Pekingese, Tojo, Tea?, and Mia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Shirley M. Walls (nee Phelps); son-in-law, Brian D. Greenwaldt; and brothers, Claude, Earl, Barnard Jr., and Kelly Walls.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 415 N.
