Beatrice Burkholder

BEATRICE OLIVIA OXENHAM BURKHOLDER, 83, of Glen Burnie; passed away her daughter's residence in Severn, MD on September 3, 2010. She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 1, 1926. She enlisted in the US Coast Guard when she was 17 years old near the end of WWII and was stationed in NY. Beatrice was a homemaker who helped her husband with his taxidermy business. She enjoyed fishing and painting and spending time on Chincoteague Island. She is the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Oxenham and Dale Burkholder; devoted mother of Diane M. Ford and Douglas Marion Oxenham; dear sister of Ronald and Kenneth Watts. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
