Mr. Benjamin A. Manning, 61, of Pasadena, MD passed away on March 16, 2010 after a 10 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Mr. Manning was born in 1948 to the late Otto and Airi Manning. Ben graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1966, then completed 2 ½ years at University of Maryland. He worked at Two Guys and retired from Giant Food after 32 years of service. Ben was a member of the Train Collectors of America. His hobbies included collecting trains, working as a DJ, playing his music and mostly spending time with his friends and family. He was known as a "walking encyclopedia" of music and was also an Orioles and Ravens fan. He was the beloved husband of Sharon Manning; devoted father of Denise Manning and her fiancée Jorge Nedrupe, loving step-father of Stephanie Powell and her husband Roger, and Stephen Drieslein; dear brother of Kathy Hicks; and cherished grandfather of Cody, age 14, Chase, age 8, and Brooke, age 4.
