Bernard Brown

Bernard L. Brown, Jr., 59, of Glen Burnie, passed away on June 16th 2021. Bernie was born in Anne Arundel County on September, 5th 1961 to the late Alice and Bernard L. Brown, Sr. He was a graduate of Andover High School, class of 1975. Bernie was employed with The Donaldson Group as a maintenance technician for 33 years. He was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, canning tomatoes and pickles, and could cook just about anything. Bernie was kind hearted, generous, loyal, hardworking, funny, and dedicated himself, out of love, to caring for his mother and father until they passed.

Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elaine, his sisters, Sharon Whiteford and Beverly Bronokoski, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bernie is preceded in death by his step-son Matthew Claytor, whom Bernie was a loving stepfather.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Sunday, September 19th from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. for a memorial gathering, and following at 1:30 p.m. a memorial service will be held.
