Bernice Moulds

Bernice R. Moulds, a resident of Glen Burnie for 60 years, passed away on February 28, 2011 at St. Catherine's Nursing Center. Bernice was born in Mississippi to the late Jenkins and Birdie Richardson. She was employed with Anne Arundel County Public School Systems as a kindergarten teacher; she taught at Ridgeway Elementary in Severn until her retirement in 1981. After retirement, she continued teaching at the Glen Burnie Baptist preschool for eight more years. Bernice greatly enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, gardening, and helping others. She is survived by her children, Clint Moulds, III and his wife Paula, Phyllis Nagy, Susie Wells and her husband David, and Rod Moulds; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by C.W. Moulds, Jr., whom she married in 1942.
