Bertha Critzman

On September 26, 1938 the world was blessed with the birth of Bertha J. Critzman in Baltimore, Maryland where she spent most of her life. On February 06, 2015 heaven received their beautiful angel with open arms, while being surrounded by her loved ones. During her life she was blessed to know what love was. She was never just a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother, wife or friend. Everything she did, she did with pride, love, and compassion. Some of the greatest joys in her life besides her family were making memories with them, whether it was teaching how to tend to a garden, encouraging you to ride that bike, building the best sand castle on the beach or kissing that boo-boo that hurt so bad all while teaching you a life lesson. She enjoyed cooking and baking, but watching us enjoy it brought an even bigger smile not only to her face but to her heart. No matter what life threw at her she dealt with it head held high knowing that she would be stronger because of it. She was survived by her three brothers Roy, Buddy, and Charles, sister and best friend Mary Brooks and husband Howard. Her children Daniel Critzman and wife Lisa, Pamela Adams and husband Don, Kimberly Hofmeister and fiancé David Pierce. Her niece Kelly Brooks, and nephew Sonny Brooks. Grandchildren Eric, Heather, Angela and husband Steve, Cynthia, Danielle, Angie and husband Ray, Jennie and husband Jacob, Donny, Kimberly and husband Kevin, Kristy, Meagan, and Mark. She was also survived by her companion Harold Snead with whom she loved with all of her heart. She was survived by numerous great-grandchildren that she cherished every moment with. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Critzman and brother "Tiny".
