Betty Douglas

Betty Ann Douglas (nee O'Neil), 84, a resident of Glen Burnie for 60 years, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on November 12, 2015. She was born in Baltimore on December 18, 1930 to the late Harry and Margaret O'Neil. Betty was a member of Downs Park and Eternal Quilters Guild, Pasadena Senior Center and longtime parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, crocheting and traveling. Betty loved the Lord and was a lifelong learner.
Betty is the beloved wife of 50 years to the late William T. Douglas; devoted mother of Kathleen (Douglas) Powers and her husband John Powers, Jr., and the late William P. and Michael E. Douglas; loving grandmother of 10; cherished great-grandmother of 12; and dear sister of Mary Anna Wolf, Martin O'Neil, Eileen Miller and the late Joseph F. O'Neil and Catherine "Pat" Kavanaugh. Betty will also be missed by her four chocolate labs.
