Betty Layng

On February 8, 2008, Betty Jane Layng of Severna Park, Maryland. Betty was dearly loved by her devoted husband of 42 years, John Layng; her loving children, Mark C. Layng and his wife Kira and Michael Ball; and her cherished grandchildren, Gillian, Madison, Michael Jr. and Chelsea. Betty was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1936. She was a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland for 35 years before living in Severna Park, Maryland for 8 years. During her career, she was a secretary at Dupront, a secretary in the purchasing department at Liskey Aluminium and a clerk at A&P (Superfresh) for 15 years. She enjoyed many hobbies in life including travelling, especially to work related conventions. She also loved cooking, sewing, jewelry and antiques. She was a woman who was devoted to her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
