Betty Shannon

Betty Jean Shannon, 79 of Millersville passed away on August 11, 2017. Betty was born on April 10, 1938 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Shannon. Betty is survived by her children, Michael Edward Shannon (Carol), Matthew Shannon and Jill Ryan; her grandchildren, Angi Shannon, Michael Shannon (Liz), Adam Shannon and Jason Shannon; her great-grandson, Clayton Edward Shannon; her siblings, Cy Bresnock (Pat), Thelma Haag (Bob), Helen Moore, Bob Bresnock and Nancy Rosenberger (Bob). Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, Aug 16th, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment MD Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
