On January 29, 2008, Betty Jo Sisk passed away. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James Andrew Sis to whom she was married for 55 years. She was dearly loved by her daughter, Deborah Lee Miller and her husband Daniel of Millersville, and her daughter Donna Kaye Smith of Glen Burnie. Mrs. Sisk was a dear grandmother of Laura and Jennifer Miller and a dear aunt of Linda Cook who actively participated in her care during her last years. She is also survived by four sisters, Peggy Dodson of Pasadena, Barbara Bunting of Danville, VA, Faye Hodges of Richmond, VA, and Judy Armentrout of Woodville, VA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Black of Pasadena. She was a resident of Glen Burnie for over 38 years. Born in Lexington, NC on March 19, 1931, Mrs. Sisk worked at Hancock Fabrics before she retired. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and traveling.
