Billie Jean Terry, 73, of Glen Burnie, passed away on November 7, 2016 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born in Cumberland, Kentucky to the late William Riley and Gladys Sturgill. Billie Jean was a member of Hampstead Pentecostal Church and enjoyed crocheting, cooking and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Layfett Sonders Terry Sr.; daughter, Glinda Jean Terry-Shaffer; and brother, Bobby Sturgill.
She is survived by her children, Bobbie Sharon Terry, Sondra Lee Iverson (James) and Layfett Sonders Terry Jr.; five grandchildren, JJ, Angel, Mikey, Josh and Andre`; and her siblings, Shirley Shreves, Patsy Schrock, Lester Sturgill and Ancil Hamrick.
