Bob Scardina

August 13, 1938 — October 16, 2011

Bob "Scarbo" Scardina, 73, of Glen Burnie, died on October 16, 2011 at his home. Bob was born in 1938 in Baltimore, MD. He worked as a truck driver for Mountain Side Transportation for over 40 years. Bob served in the US Army from 1957-1960. He was a member of Teamsters Local 355 and the 1 million mile club. His hobbies included crabbing, boating and doing yard work. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Wayne Riesett; and his parents, Audrey and Robert F. Scardina. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen Scardina (nee McDevitt); four children, Keith Scardina and wife Bonnie, Bobby Scardina, Michael Scardina, and Stacy Scardina; three step-children, Charles Messerschmidt and wife Sue, Karen Messerschmidt, and Lorraine Erbe and husband Craig; three sisters, Bonnie Hutchins, Kay Martin and Karen Scardina; 19 grandchildren and some great-grandchildren.
