On March 19, 2011, Bobbie Jean Corum, a resident of Prince William County for 28 years, passed away at her sister's home after a long illness. She was born on February 11, 1951 in Knoxville, TN to the late Enloe and Blondie Corum. Bobbie was employed with Shoppers Food Warehouse as a bookkeeper/cashier for 39 years, most recently in Dumfries. She belonged to the Moose Lodge in Woodbridge, and greatly enjoyed bowling, boating, traveling, and the beach. Bobbie is survived by her two sons, Anthony Richard Tipton, Jr. and wife Freda Marie of Chesapeake Beach, MD and James Foster Tipton of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchildren, Ashlee, Haley, Katie, and Kasey Tipton; two sisters, Darlene Kelly of Brooklyn Park, MD and Patti Atchley of Maryville, TN. Bobbie will also be missed by her niece and caregiver, Wendy Kelly, her dear friend, Molly Davis, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her two brothers.
