Bobby Geddings

On January 2, 2016, Bobby Gene Geddings, 85, passed away at Hart Heritage Estate in Forest Hill, MD. He was one of fifteen children born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on October 9, 1930, to the late Pearlia and Douglas Geddings. He and his siblings were raised by his dear step-father, Jesse L. Davis. Bobby served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force from 1946-1949 and went on to own BG's Construction Co. and BG's Car Wash in Glen Burnie. He was a member of the Glen Burnie Kiwanis Club and loved playing golf, traveling, and building things.

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved son, Bobby Gene Geddings, Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Barbara J. Geddings; his loving children, Billie Jo Heilman and Johnnie Geddings; six beloved grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Saturday, January 9th at 2 PM. A gathering of family and friends will precede the service from 1-2 PM.
