Brenda Stinchcomb

October 15, 1949 — December 14, 2018

Baltimore

Brenda “Fay” Stinchcomb, 69, of Baltimore completed her life’s journey on December 14, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. Brenda was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia to the late Harry David and Dorothy (Shade) Miller. She moved to Maryland at a young age and was raised by her older sister, Kay. She married the love of her life Clinton Theodore Stinchcomb in 1965. After marriage Fay was given the job she loved best, being Mom and staying home to raise her two daughters. Words cannot describe the devotion Fay had to her family. Fay enjoyed hosting family gatherings where her motto was, “The more the merrier”. Fay’s passing during the Christmas season holds special symbolism, because Christmas was her favorite time of year. She gave great attention to every detail in her Christmas planning to ensure everyone felt the holiday spirit and got their picture taken! She also enjoyed crocheting, and in the past she enjoyed boating. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and AMVETS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clinton Theodore Stinchcomb, Jr.; sister, Sandrath “Kay” Karasinski; and brother, Harry David Miller, Jr.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her beloved husband, Clinton Theodore Stinchcomb, Sr.; daughters, Sandra Shore and her husband John Shore, Sr., Paula Kohlhaus and her husband, Michael Kohlhaus; grandchildren, John, Jr., Steven, and Mindy Shore; Joshua and Dylan Kohlhaus; great grandchildren, Kiley Shore and Cayden Jayce; brother, Roger Miller; sisters, Sheila Herd, and Lisa Bohrer; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W.
