Calvin Walter Hood, Jr., 53, of Glen Burnie passed away on July 2, 2011. Calvin was born in 1957 in Washington, DC. He served in the US Navy from 1977-1983. Calvin worked as an Engineer. He was the devoted companion of Denise M. Shanefelter; cherished father of Devin Renee, Curtis Reed, Courtney Rose, Davis Calvin, and Rachel Elizabeth Hood; loving son of Calvin W. and the late Nancy Lou Hood; dear step-son of Janet Hood; beloved brother of Deborah K. Weakley, Pamela Lynn Thomas, Deanne Marie Waynick, and the late Curtis Reed Hood; dear grandfather of Gavin Reed Hood and Jonathan Lowell Hood.
