Carl Atwell

Carl Atwell, 51, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 19, 2013. He was born in Georgia on May 3, 1961 to the late Eugene and Jennie Atwell. Carl graduated from Kenwood High School in 1979 and received an Associate's Degree from Irvine College Cum Laude in 1986. He served in the United States Marine Corps and received the Rifle Marksman Badge and Meritorious Mast. He was employed as a Manufacturing Branch Manager with SAIC and enjoyed sports, especially the Orioles, cooking, military history and was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Bonni; two children, Carl L. Atwell and Brandi Heaton; two grandchildren, Makaila and Grayson Heaton; four siblings, Sue Keefer, Karen Falk, Steve Atwell and Gene Atwell; and several nieces and nephews.
