Carl Clause Sr

On February 5, 2018, Carl Bernard Clause Sr., died peacefully in Myrtle Beach, SC with his family at his side. He was raised in Clark Summit, PA and has resided in Millersville, MD for more than 40 years. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Libby; sons, Carl, Jr. (Liz) and Scott (Amy); daughter, Carol Goodwin; grandsons, Christopher (Cassie) and Nathaniel; granddaughters, Meagan, Stacey, Rachel, Crystal and Carol; sister-in-law, Kathy Braman, along with many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred.
Carl worked for the Baltimore City Fire Department for 26 years, followed by 12 years at Westinghouse/Northrup Grumman. He was an avid golfer, and after retiring, he spent a lot of time at his second home in Myrtle Beach. He also worked part time at several golf courses. Carl had wonderful, caring neighbors and friends there. He was a 60 year member of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge #213.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Sunday, Feb. 11th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Masonic service will be held at 3 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive; Tampa, FL 33607 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105.
