Carl Greathouse, Sr

CARL E. GREATHOUSE, SR., 85, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on December 22, 2009. Carl was born in New Boston, Ohio in 1924 and he joined the US Navy in 1941. He worked as a glass machinist and shop manager at MD Glass Company in Baltimore. Carl enjoyed gardening, playing chess and cards and coin collecting. He worked very hard all his life. Carl is beloved husband of the late Dolores E. Greathouse; devoted father of Barbara A. Santiago, Carl E. Greathouse, Jr., David W. Greathouse, Patricia Blizzard and the late Dolores E. Sanders; he is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
