Carol L. Ziegler

Carol Louise Ziegler, 75 of Ocala, Florida and formerly of Anne Arundel County, Maryland passed away on September 18, 2024 in Florida. Carol was born on June 13, 1949 in Baltimore to the late Daniel and Beverly Bolton.

Carol had a special fondness and love of the beach, particularly in Florida where she lived for many years with her husband, Don. Carol's home was filled with love, and the gentle purring of her four beloved cats, who brought her great joy and companionship throughout her life. She was a retired Anne Arundel County Public School System administrative professional.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Jim Fredericks, Jr. (Fay) and Thomas Sklanka (Tracy); her grandchildren, Kyle (Bethanie), Dylan (Ashlee), Madison (Tyler), Connor, and Nora; her great-grandchildren, Luke, Rowan, Tucker, and Dustin; her siblings, Jeffrey Bolton (Jenny), Daniel Bolton, Craig Bolton, and Jill Blevins (Richard). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ziegler; and her sister, Pamela Barnes.

Carol L. Ziegler leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be missed dearly but remembered with warmth and affection.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, October 4th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
