On September 12, 2015, Caroline Gertrude Clagett of Linthicum Heights, passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 24, 1917, to the late Martha and Charles Kriewald. Caroline was the oldest, lifelong, charter member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was very active. She taught Sunday school for 10 years, was active in the Ladies Aid Society, assisted with the monthly newsletter, and attended many church activities. Caroline's family was first and foremost in her life along with her faith and church. She took pride in taking care of her home and hosting family gatherings.
Caroline was predeceased by her devoted husband, Thomas D. Clagett, Jr. She is survived by her beloved sons, Richard T., Donald C., and Dr. James L. Clagett; her ten cherished grandchildren, and twelve loving great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Friday, September 18, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 9 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 308 Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville.
