Catalina Mola Ordansa, 82, of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 5, 2021, at Stella Maris. Catalina was born in Taal, Batangas, Philippines, on April 30, 1938, to the late Sofia and Pedro Mola. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Rizal College in the Philippines. She taught elementary school in her native country, and upon moving to America, she worked for the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore in the medical records department. Catalina is a member of the Bayanihan Filipino Organization and she enjoyed working and taking care of her family.
Catalina is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Plurinsus G. Ordansa; her loving sons, Romeo Vicente Mola Ordansa and Neofito Ron Mola Ordansa; her dear daughters-in-law, Rita Ordansa and Janet Ordansa; her cherished grandchildren, Marisa E. Corpuz, Alexander J. Ordansa, and Nicholas J. Ordansa; and her beloved sister, Adorina Operaña. In addition to her parents, Catalina was predeceased by her siblings, Cecilia, Norie, Aurelio, Prudencio, Teofila, Modesta, and Milagros Mola. She is also survived by many extended family & friends.
The Ordansa family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service for Catalina will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
