Catherine R. Brown

Catherine R. Brown, 82 of Glen Burnie went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2024. Catherine was born on July 8, 1942 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Theodore and Roselene Funkhouser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Brown. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Kathy Walton (John Edgar “Ed” Walton) and Mark Rose, Sr. (Sarah Rose); her grandchildren, Kimberly Jean Welch, Jonathan Michael Cochran (Chelsea), and the late Mark Wayne Rose, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Corey, Joshua, Billy, Austin and Dixie Welch; her siblings, Ted “Smoke” Funkhouser, Samuel Funkhouser, Debra Cochran and Florence Klemkowski. Catherine was a very active member of her church, Faith Baptist, and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, November 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 at 9 AM. Interment Meadowridge Mem. Park.
