Catherine Ravadge

Catherine Olivia Ravadge, 88, of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 1, 2017. She was born in Baltimore to the late Lee and Ida Hunter and was raised in Hampden on Falls Road. Catherine retired from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Duckpin bowling, crossword puzzles, traveling, taking bus trips with family, watching the Orioles and eating crabs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Vera, Doris and Albert.
Catherine is survived by her loving sons, Fred and Cindy Ravadge, Dave and Val Ravadge; cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Matt and Olivia Ravadge; beloved great-granddaughter, Alexandria; and her dear sisters, Barb and Michael Hinkle, Linda and Ed Thompson. She will also be missed by Barb Erbe, whom she thought of as a daughter.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Monday, Dec. 4th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 15300 Dover Road; Reisterstown, MD 21136.
