Catherine Thayer

Catherine Pitts Thayer, of Millersville (formally from Ferndale) passed away at her residence on July 5, 2009. Mrs. Thayer was born in Baltimore, MD in 1927 and was a graduate of Patterson High School. She worked for the C&P Telephone Company as a secretary for 7 years and then went to work at Lindale Jr. High School as secretary for 15 years. She was an active member of Severna Park United Methodist Church. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Thayer is the beloved wife of the late William B. Thayer; devoted mother of Kathy Lloyd and her husband Donald; loving grandmother of Michael and Katie Lloyd; dear sister of Margaret Heard and the late Dorothy Zollner.
