Charles Baugh, Jr

Charles Anthony Baugh, Jr., 69, of Severn, passed away on April 24, 2015. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 18, 1945 to the late Mary Helen and Charles Baugh, Sr. Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 1st Class for six years. While in the Navy, he completed basic submarine training at the U.S. Naval Submarine School, New London CT and also obtained a pilot's license via Navy Flying School in Norfolk, VA. He held membership in the Navy Flying Club. He was trained and certified in many electronic specialties. After his discharge, Charlie worked for Northrup Grumman as an electronic engineer for over 40 years. Through continuing education he held an Associate of Science degree as well as a General Contractor's license. He enjoyed using these skills in carpentry and masonry, building/general contracting; to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He liked to round out his free time with camping, traveling and having family time at the beach.
Charlie is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rebecca T. Baugh "Becky"; his beloved children, Rebecca Anne Baugh and Charles A. Baugh, III "Chuck"; and his loving sister, Mary Margaret Thomas.
