Charles Gaston

On December 9, 2008, Charles William "Bill" Gaston, beloved husband of Nancy Carol Gaston (nee Gardner) of 42 years; loving son of the late Dr. Charles Ewing Gaston and Mrs. Olive May Gaston. Mr. Gaston graduated from the University of Texas in 1956 with a Degree in Physics. He also had additional studies at the Johns Hopkins University. He was a member of the United States Navy from 1945 to 1949 and was an Aviation Electronics Technician First Class. Mr. Gaston was a longtime member of the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge #213, the Boumi Shrine Temple, the IEEE (secretary), NARFE Chapter 1519 (secretary) and the United Methodist Men. He served on and chaired many committees at the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church and the Tuesday Morning Men's Group. He had many hobbies including electronics, photography, reading and travelling. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed aviation, boating and water skiing.
