Charles Johansson

Charles Robert Johansson, 94, of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 16, 2015. He was born in Boston, MA on April 23, 1920 to the late Elsa and Karl Johansson. Charles served his country proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from M.I.T. He retired from Westinghouse as an Electrical Engineer for over 27 years. He enjoyed bowling, skiing, sailing, landscaping, and woodworking.
Charles was predeceased by his devoted wife of 45 years, Elaine R. Johansson and his dear siblings, Henry, George, Francis, Raymond, and Eddie Johansson, Leo Wilbur, Dorothy Mastatuno, Eleanor Skaggs, and Shirley Ballew. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Paula Manikas and her husband Robert; and his beloved granddaughters, Stephanie, Melissa, and Rachael Manikas.
