Charles King

Charles Monroe King, 84, of Glen Burnie passed away on June 14, 2014. He was born on January 12, 1930 in Odenton, Maryland to the late Edward and Annie King. Charles delivered newspapers with the Baltimore Sun and the News American for over 43 years. He enjoyed baseball and football and especially spending time with his wife and family.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lee Francis King, Edward William King, Louis "Mouse" King, James Roy King, Walter Ellwood King, Estell Elizabeth King - Holland and Theresa.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia A. Miller-King; his children, Tom Layson, Maria Abell (the late John Abell), Richard Layson (Lynda), Russell Layson (Lisa), Lorie Greene (Ron), Kristy Miller and Robby Miller (Colleen); his sister, Helen Virginia Sava; his grandchildren, Andrea, Eric, Jeremy, Kenny, Wesley, Jenna, Julie, Russell, Christina, Sarah, Chloe, Lilly and Andrew; his great-grandchildren, Natalie, Wesley, Dylan, Rebecca, Tiffany, Emily, Aimee, Thomas, Jade, Aiden, Brandon and Andrew.
