Charles Murphy

On May 10, 2007, Charles "Ed" Murphy of Glen Burnie passed away. Beloved husband of 61 years to Anne Marie Murphy (nee Cunningham); Loving father of Charles E. Murphy, Paul R. Murphy, Michael T. Murphy, Anne Marie Zepp, Mary Catherine Gowda and Denise Marlene Plunkett; Caring brother of the late George Murphy and Anna L. Baldwin; Cherished grandfather of fourteen and great-grandfather of seven (with three on the way!). Ed lived in the Glen Burnie area for 60 years. He served his country as a member of the United States Army and once belonged to the V.F.W. Post #40. He worked as a truck driver until he retired. Ed was known for smoking his pipe. He also enjoyed watch sports, especially the Orioles.
