Charlotte Sheffer

SHEFFER, Charlotte May, 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away on February 25, 2014. Charlotte was born in Towson, MD on June 20, 1923 to the late Ruby Gertrude and Charles Thomas Bayne. She grew up in Towson and attended Towson High School. She worked for Black and Decker for 13 years. On February 7, 1953, she married William Richard "Buzz" Sheffer. During her lifetime, Charlotte lived in Baltimore, Pasadena, and Glen Burnie, Maryland. She loved to bake, follow the Orioles, play games, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church where she participated in various groups and activities.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, William Richard "Buzz" Sheffer, her parents, her sister Margret Estelle Krumholtz, her brothers Clarence Edward and C. Milton Bayne, and her granddaughter, Megan Marie Harris. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Darlene Sheffer of Kansas City, KS and Linda Harris of Severna Park, MD; her dear son-in-law, Steve Harris; her loving grandchildren, Stephen Jr. of Philadelphia, Christopher and Rachel Harris of Severna Park.
