Christopher Russell

Christopher Louis Russell, 71 of Glen Burnie passed away on December 25, 2022. Chris was born on January 18, 1951 in Maryland to the late Chester and Virginia Russell. Chris graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1969. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He held a Lifetime membership and served as Past Commander in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Waddell Camp 1608, and was also a member of the American Legion. Chris enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, reading and traveling.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Carolyn Deike-Russell; his daughter, Valerie Russell of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Matt Russell, Victoria Russell and Ashley Madison; his brothers, Clifton Russell of Alabama and Craig Russell of Missouri; his cousin, Bob Brooking. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, Jan. 4th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
