Clara Potter

Clara "Clare" Potter, 87, of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 9, 2018. She was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota to the late Michael and Mary Bauer. She worked as a secretary for Marley Junior High where she was known as a "hoot". She loved watching soap operas and reading British non-fiction novels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Potter.
Clare is survived by her devoted children, Vicki Lavinder, Jeffrey Potter, Laurie Kuczinski, Mark Potter, Julie Kostro and Krista Burns; 14 cherished grandchildren; five loving great-grandchildren; and her dear sisters, Rosemary Gill, Peggy Pryor, Dee Kerby and Barbara Parker.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, March 14th, from 6-9 PM. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, from 12-1 PM, with the funeral service immediately following at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Salvation Army.
